Skunked at Briery Creek Lake out near Farmville VA today. Got there in heavy fog that lifted after noon. Heavy lay downs, standing timber, and a huge carp we scared ...more off at the boat dock. Awesome 800 acre lake, originally stocked with Florida largemouth, if you enjoy heavy cover...EVERYWHERE 😂

  No luck for me here this past weekend but husband caught the tiniest little bass and then a 3 1/2. Got the boat breached on a couple logs...that was cool! 🤔🤔 ...more Not an easy lake to navigate through...trees literally everywhere, 2 howling kids, while simultaneously trying to fish...🤦
