If anyone is wondering if these "Training Wheels" are a good idea I'll say absolutely. I don't need to make everything I have waterproof 'cause ...more I'm not tipping over. My sit on top kayak with be fine for the fall, just need waterproof pants and socks. Word of caution...make sure you install them far enough back so not to interrupt your paddling or you will be installing them twice, like I did.
