Couldn't get the bass to bite at Poplar Tree Lake today. Water was very clear, and cooler than other places I've been to, about 53*. I tried different colored ...more spinner baits, a couple of rattle traps and a swim jig without a single bite. I also tossed around a live worm on an ultra lite hoping for a bream to save me from a skunk, but it didn't happen.
