Out today mid morning with two other guys chasing some trout. Took a couple minutes to get on the active school, but once we were on them, had steady action for ...more the next 45-60 Minutes until we had our limit.
Switched to bass, caught a couple (12-18") plus some bonus pike 24" and 32" throwing plastics.
Active trout were about 3-5 feet down, but over much deeper water. Still plenty of small schools in the very shallow water. We used waxies on icefishing jigs, but the guy fishing next to us was catching them on minnows.
