Fished Douglas on 30 Oct. from 9:30 till 1:00 and put 10 in the boat. Had a mixed bag with smallmouth and those old green fish. All caught from the points and pockets ...more from major creek channel on a jig anywhere from right up on the bank to 20-25' deep. Had to get away from all the bait on up the lake, just too much bait and couldn't buy their attention. Found the isolated schools of bait and went to town. Sure will be glad when the H2O temps get 55 to 45°(if summer temps ever get out of here) then I'll pull my hair out. Guess we will see what next weekend brings.
