yes sir that's a dirty bass right there. this is the north end of falcon where the River starts (rio grande) so all the dirty running water comes through there. ...more south end of the lake is way cleaner but still not so clear. that's south tx for you.
bass and most fish in general that live in murky or muddy water will be very pale like this in comparison to fish living in clear water where they will be brightly ...more colored for camouflage reasons. you can even see the color of the water in this picture versus the color of the water in his last bass picture.
i have so many trips within the USA i want to do for huge species we don't have here in NJ, sturgeon, gar, salmon, blue catfish (which i've done but only ...more caught small ones), halibut, tuna, mako and thresher sharks. I don't see a trip for super sized bass in my near future but maybe one day!
