White bass good on Alabama rigs, jigs and grubs below the dam, along creek channels and riprap. Striped bass good on flukes, hair jigs and shad below the dam. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 4-8 ft. around docks, coves and standing timber. Flathead and blue catfish good on live shad and sunfish below the dam and along the spillway. If your coming from Tx, I would go to Arbuckle or Lake Murray for clear water. You can always head to the East, Sardis, Hugo, Pine Creek. Always had good luck on ...more Sardis. Pretty lake too.
