Fished Lake Wateree in and around Singleton Creek across from the State Park 04/10/14 thru 04/12/14, water temp was in the mid 60's, a few small crappie near ...more the bank but larger ones were scattered in 10 to 16 feet depth, trolled black/chartreuse jigs and kept 9 that filleted out to 3 lbs. Most fishermen were trolling or spider rigging or just drifting. Used different colored jigs and caught small striper and catfish. The females had eggs but were not ready to spawn, sack was solid yellow with no blood veins.
