Fishing on Lake Ontario is still good to very good, with the fish moving closer to shore every week. Look for some solid chinook action in the early morning hours ...more and then again toward evening right as the temperatures cool off. There have been some good reports of both steelhead and chinooks being caught from the jetties when conditions are favorable. The Bass are remaining fairly shy so fish for them in waters up to 40 feet deep. Northern pike action remained good on the weed line edges in 8 to 20 feet of water.
