they work but gotta remeber their a very soft bait so they slide or pull off hook easy unless u buy some good jigheads that have good keepers on them dab of crazy ...more glue I like the gel kind because the liquid is just runny an get all over the place too easy..gels thicker Alot easier to work with an less mess..other than live bait..this is my last resort to go to when it gets tough in summer..looks so natural fluttering to bottom..good luck headed out bout 20mins fish for couple hrs..probally throw the gulps to see if I can get one to post for u..lol

or sometimes is real agressive the fish I'll fish 3inch behind betttle spin but take dab super glue to hold head of gulp on jighead...great baits..especially ...more if vertical fishing for crappie..small light jighead..1/32 oz I prefer
    12. Rick Carey 1
not sure if you tried them but get some 3 or 4inch gulps smelt or emerald shiner colors use small to med size drop shot hook hook them between both eyes fish light ...more line 4-6lb mono smash a split shot about 18inches up above gulp an cast retrieve slow use the lightest split shot you can an still be able to cast good with not too heavy..the lighter the better ..cast let go to bottom an slow hops up an down or yo yo retrieve ..you'll smash cats bass crappie dam near anything big enough to take that gulp..you will catch..when bite gets super slow eye hook gulps an u will be amazed..sometimes I go bigger ones no weight an fish real slow...bass can't stand it..lol
