Since mid May my lady and I have slammed 42 catfish. Not gonna bore you with the small fish. I'm estimating the large blue she caught around 15 to 17 pounds,(didn't have a scale). Most of the 42 cats were in-between an estimated 4 to 12 pounds, with the exceptions of the 16 lb, and one she caught(weight unknown)Not huge fish by any means, but we both have our pb's. We are both new to avid catfishing. I never knew any techniques, or any more than a couple different rigs for catfishing(Texas rig with chicken livers) and she basically knew nothing of it.. We're now exploring different waters, using better bait, better rigs, tackle and gear, learning more about sonar and landing more cats in a month than in our entire lives. Now that the water is warming up I hope to be posting some nice flathead pics. See you on the water!!
