steven Priso 0I do think blue catfish still move during the winter and looking for food. I also read they move in schools so chances are if u get a hit, be ready for more shortly ...more after. I recast every 30-40 minutes but u can wait more I would think:). I hope this helps!

steven Priso 0u can fish blue catfish all year long! they might be hidden in deeper water in the winter but I have been doing it no problem. u can use a drop shot or a Carolina ...more rig with chicken breast marinated in Jell-O with garlic, or Jell-O with hotdog, or chicken liver works well too or the best will be live bait (but in the winter it's harder to catch). Good luck, and fish on....
