Caught off Jefferys Ledge in 100' to 150' of water with a live Mack on a balloon set at a depth of 72'. A truly magical experience, took 4 grown men 1.5 hours switching off every 10 minutes. We were on a charter but could not keep the beast. Got it to the boat, pulled the hook and off to the depths he went. Captain estimated the fish tipped the scales around 500 lbs.
