We moved up and down the shore in depths between 15 and 19 feet. Casting towards shore with a slow retrieval back to the boat. This was my 8 year old grandsons first time in a bass boat and he had a blast. he also caught a few bass and a drum that gave him a good fight. This was a great memory for both of us.
