Traci Gates 0yeah in a throw net too... at first I thought I had a log in there till I dumped the net and the snapper charged me.😂 figured out really fast it wasnt a log.

Traci Gates 0I've dealt with a few snappers. I prefer them to the soft shells. The soft shells heads go way back and super fast! but I catch alot of turtles from red ears ...more to snappers and soft shells. so I'm used to dealing with them. You get turtles more when you bottom fish. caught this one in a throw net when I was just going for bait. totally caught me off guard.
