Rick Carey 1got a tip for you little buddy if you haven't tried yet..buy some roadrunners too 1/8 oz for shallow water 1/4 oz for deeper than 6ft water..and buy some 2 inch ...more gulp minnows at Walmart wherever emerald shiner or smelt color if waters clear if dirty try yellow orange color.. roadrunner come in orange or chartreuse..either or have to experience with both..or small 1 inch gulps in jar like 20 or so in their last a longtime use on small hooks with bobber or on very small road runners 1/16 oz..great for bass bluegill and especially crappies .sometimes I use a 2-3 grub also on roadrunners too..give it a try I think you'll like results..today I caught that musky on roadrunner an 2 inch gulp..I catch everything on those catfish bass crappie you name it.
