only shad lure i've ever had success with is the flutter spoon...realized too late that i only had one left! and of course i snagged it first 5 minutes! soooo....i fished about 2 hours trying different stuff that i thought might work and only had one bite that came off. I was about to leave when i snag some old line attached to...a new flutter spoon!!! i swapped it onto my leader and proceeded to whack two jersey tarpon quickly before it got dark :) lucky turn of events
