Arthur Huttemeyer Sr. 1This reminds me of the day I forgot my net at home. I trolled up 9 Lakers one of which was about the same size as that one. The other was even bigger I lost both ...more at the boat. The biggest one I fought for 38 minutes. My buddy Ted passed me 3 times and asked if I hooked another one. I said nope same one. I could not get it off the bottom. Finally had it to the boat and no net. The fishes mouth where it was hooked was tore, he or she made a final head shake and bye bye the fly popped out. Both would have been my PB, I slammed my pole down and screamed bloody murder. So congrats on that monster. A lot of people say Lake trout don't fight. They have never hooked a real monster.

Buddy Pierce 0Hi mike. Trolling in 18 feet of water. Water temp 37.0 degrees surface. Running around 1.9 mph. Also seen a few brown trout off the rocks. Good luck!!!
