  You know that spot makes trophy status at NC wildlife? Over 2lbs and 15" is the mark. You just print out the form on their website and mail it in with $5 to ...more cover their time. Ive got 4 so far this year. I really think Hickory will produce state record soon. Plenty of 4 lb spots already. After this years hatch they can gorge and grow.

  Spot is quickly becoming my favorite fish. Totally attack a reel and fight like a banshee. Beautifully colored.
