I've haven't had any luck lately with all the high waters in the area so thought I'd check out the canal since I was in the area(never fished it before). The canal is a perfect spot dor some bass, caught a nice little bass in no time. Didn't have my phone on me to take a pic or a bucket to take him home so I threw him back. Going to take my kayak there next week hopefully and hit it hard.
