I'm looking at the same options too. Wanted to get a used jon boat with a trailer and then spend money on putting in a deck, seats and electronics. I've ...more had the v hull boat without pedestal seats, without a good trolling motor and no electronics and it just doesnt cut it for me. Just going out there blind, anchoring and fishing plastics just doesnt do it for me anymore either. I camped at Patagonia once and fished visible structure on foot but never got one bass bite over several days. Did not see any fish either but the boats that were set up properly did have fish in the live well. I have never gone to Parker Cyn but it seems like it would be a good lake to fish with a tube because it's a small lake. Gary

Gary, the last two weeks I've been shore fishing. The two weekends before I was fishing from one of the rental jon boats. I'm thinking of getting something ...more small to get around at Patagonia and Parker Canyon. Definitely better fishing from the lake.

Chris, are you walking the shore? Have you ever tried a float tube at Patagonia?

Smallish largemouth. Nothing else and I didn't see anyone catching anything.
