A little windy this morning for the kayak. Thought I would get skunked but this beauty made the trip worth the trip. Weight and length are approximate.

      Thanks! Good luck out there!

There's a bridge where you can put in with a boat. The water is probably in the 4 foot depth range but weedy. If you look at the map you'll see the Yahara ...more forms a couple of small lakes one north and one south of the bridge. Fishing can be good either direction. More boats head down stream but I have had better luck up stream. Best of luck.

Hey Steve, can you get to that spot by boat or just by kayak? I fish waubesa often but haven't hit kegonsa or that lower yahara. Always looking for new spots, ...more thanks and great catch!

Thanks for the suggestion. Mine was caught in the Yahara where it widens south of Kegonsa. I select the Yahara but when I plot it Waubesa/Kegonsa shows up. Great ...more place to fish for pike and bass but it is getting too weedy way earlier than last year.

Since Fishidy doesn't distinguish between Waubesa and Kegonsa, maybe in the future, you guys could tell us which lake you caught your fish in.

Great catch - I was out there too and caught 2 northern/1bass - overcast sky helped
