  Thanks for your answer. I know that in the spring, there are big walleyes in the Cherokee Marsh. Do you happen to know if some of them stay all year round there ...more or do they mosey on back to Lake Mendota?

  Forget that I live in Florida now. Are you fishing outside edges of weedlines (which if I remember correctly go down to about 16 feet in Mendota) or are you fishing ...more in shallower areas of the lake such as by the Middleton shore?
