I'm also in Brentwood, if you have time, type in westhaven Kroger on tour cell phone maps. It doesn't show a pond there but there is and it's stocked. ...more Use a worm or soft plastic and throw it in the center, you'll get bit. Also a mile from there is the harpath, not very deep but small ones with a fly will work.

Fantastic!Been eyeing Mill Creek since stuck in Brentwood. Water looks productive upstream of that Malfuntion Junction near Shopping Center. But, further downstream, ...more I see a lot of junk and litter - no idea of the stream conditions, just a mild downer.
Also, will wet a fly, or lose a spinner on Sycamore. Now have a good USGS Map (needs updating).
Obviously new to Fishidy and this area, so any further suggestions you, or others, care to share will be appreciated.
All the Best and keep on casting,

I caught these after they released them, the little harpath is bad news now, water is too hot, most have died off. anywhere is Williamson county mostly in Franklin ...more is where I fish. these were caught off of hwy96 before you go over the bridge into the square. last time I fished the big harpath, the gar where all over the water. you can try newson mill, it's almost in Cheatam county
