Just found a little creek to fish near the campus so I went and fished the Falling Water River, and fish not to far from Burgess Falls. Never caught a Coosa until this day and caught close to 40 fish between two. This fish doesn't grow more than 6" and the record is 5lb The Red Eye bass or "Coosa" is only native to the Southern App area of GA, TN, AL, NC, SC and the Cumberland Plateau where I am.
