I've been spending a lot of time in my kayak before the new school year starts. I've also been catching two or three of these small "puppy drum", as they call them around here, each trip. Cast a minnow out on a circle hook and let it sink and start to swim. Found most on the incoming tide, in the shallower areas. Always fun!
