My very first Sauger!! So pumped, we were fishing for smallmouths and walleye and this was quite the surprise! Bouncing the jig of the bottom right before night. Thought I snagged something at first but it pulled up and then had a hard run back to the bottom. I think it's considered an endangered species in NY but I'm not sure since I caught it on the reservation. Pretty awesome though!!
