Fishing hydroplane mats in 6 foot of water. 20mph winds from the north so I positioned my self to cast along the sides of the mats. Some beasts live there caught several 5+ this was biggest of weekend at 7lbs 1oz. Possibly lost a PB flipping the caffeine shad into a bush. Fought this fish for awhile after pulling lots of drag finally was at side of boat and when I reached for net it jumped off(9+)
