In Tampa with @crookcody19 for two days, plans to go kayaking in the bay got canceled so we tried the skyway bridge instead. Slow slow slow. Had live pinfish and greenbacks out on the bottom and on pin rigs with no luck all day. Decided to try for sheepshead by putting a life shrimp by the pilings and keeping it a few feet off the bottom. Had two sheeps pop off and then this guy surprised me.

Sean Wilms 080 air temp, clear sunny skies, W breeze, incoming tide, alewives plentiful early on but later disappeared, not much going on, no mackerel or sharks like we hoped

Sean Wilms 0Gave a great fight on my medium action, thought I had a 4 or 5 pound sheepshead the whole time, defiantly a unique catch for me and saved me from the skunk.
