I'm an attempt to find out what the rainbow trout were feeding on I accidentally stumbled upon a hybrid pumpkinseed bluegill school out deep in the pond. I caught two of these big 9"-10" sunfish out in the middle of the pond in 6ft of water trying to get a tasty rainbow. Cool surprise but not what I was after. Was great to get out on such an unusually warm winter morning.
