Very windy day with 2 foot rollers in the open bay. Fishing in 9 fow on top of a shell reef. Was catching a lot of specs and sand trout when I got a massive hit and my reel started screeming. Fought hard for 20 minutes until we finally got it into the boat. Caught on a 6foot medium light rod pair with a pflueger trion and 12lb trilene monofilament.
