With gusty tailwind tossed fluke into deep pool,worked back w/ current into rocky push water using erratic twitch retrieve on semi slack line. This one footer hit the fluke next to an undercut bank. Good fight for the size. Nearly buried itself in exposed tree roots. Air temp 79. Water temp 60s. Overcast skies with showers moving in. Falling leaves making tough to penetrate water surface.

      @JustFish Same. Got out for an hour before the rain. Few dinky smallmouth and bunch of rock bass which are the bane of my existence equivalent to reeling in a leaf.
