Bite went cold soon after prior BLert and switched to top water. Have found the Pop-R has the longest effective season of the top water lures I've tried. Often get bit well in to October as this feisty 12" smallie can attest. Blew up on it in one foot of water no more than ten feet from where I was standing. Always seems the ones that hit top water have the most attitude. This guy was no exception
