The bait was in the water 2 minutes when the shark took it and made about 40 yard run. Then the real battle began. We were fishing in a 24ft Carolina Skiff, with elevated platform in the back of the boat. The spinner made at least 10 laps around the boat. @swampmafia, the gudie and myself passed the rod around till we were able to release him. Estimated the shark to be a bit over 6 feet.
