Today was a rough one, but persistency paid off. This was the only bite I had in, but it's more than I was expecting from a cold and windy day. Tried jigs and lipless cranks with no luck, so I tried the 401, and the result was my first fish, and first real bite, I've had out there in about 12 hours of fishing. I saw a nice fish, looked to be 4-5 pounds, floating. Felt good to break the goose egg.
