I usually throw smaller plastics in this pond, but I was feeling lucky and decided to tie an 8" worm, Temp was 59 degrees I would just cast the worm let it sink to the bottom a couple twitches and hang on, they were not hitting it hard. They would just grab it and take off with the bait. I wanna say pound &1/2
