Stopped by Fish Lake to try my hand at ice fishing. The water was 10-12 inches thick and I found a few already drilled holes and dropped a chartreuse paddle bug with perch meat to the bottom and after jigging for about 10 minutes I felt weight and set the hook. Only fish of the day and my first through the ice! Very cold, but it felt good to be fishing! Awesome hour on the water!
