Out fishing for the first bass of the year but I ended up catching a buffalo, the fish surprised me. I thought I had a huge bass but no. I can tell you one thing for sure these fish can fight for sure. What a great way to bring in the New Year with a hard fight.

Chuck LaBruna 0Nice job, but that is a Freshwater Drum (Sheepshead, Gaspergou). Buffalo look almost indentical to carp, and have large, forked tails, and much larger scales
