I caught my first wild Michigan brown trout fishing in the pere Marquette River about 2 weeks ago! The fish was about 19.5 inches.. Not bad for my first one! I was slowly walking along the bank when I noticed it feeding right against the bank and I dropped the copper John down in front of it and it grabbed it first try!
