Yesterday's morning birthday fishing trip. First time to Delacroix. Tons of grass makes it tough to fish I should have had a weedless Texas rig on but the spinnerbait worked pretty good if I kept it in the top 6" of water. The fish all slammed the spinnerbait. 4 bass and a 29" red. Great day !

Jacob DeRamus 0Yeah there's not as much grass in Hopedale. In my experience though, it's a lot more difficult to catch fish from a kayak.
