Sharing space on the river with the master fishers. A photo and fishing trip to Alaska. There are a few golden rules to remember: 1. Yield the right of way to the bears. ALWAYS. 2. Keep your head on a swivel and stay calm. The bears want fish, not you. They don't want you because they don't associate humans with food. Keep it that way - don't feed them! 3. A fish fighting on the end of ⬇️⬇️⬇️

      many ose encounters but never had to fire a round as a fishing guide ...... actually used to tell my clients that it is less paperwork for me to let the bear eat ...more them than for me to shoot the bear.

      as a former guide in south east ak...I've spent my time in close proximity to the guys....always humbling....and as a guide I would carry my 45-70 as my clients ...more fishes for silvers and dollys. had
