Taught the wee ones to fish on Lesser Slave Lake. Primarily chased walleye and pike. Rods were always tied to the boat! Took about 3 years to figure out the lake and seasonal fish movement. Would tent camp on the shores a few times a year. Always thought it was important for them to understand life cycles and where their food came from. We enjoyed a number of shore lunches in the cast iron pans.
