This is the biggest of the American Eel I caught tonight. Very cold night on the water. The Eel run was from 8-9 on this night. Could anyone help answer this question though? Why is it that on the Delaware, the eel are biting for only 1 hour and then it goes completely flat without any bite for hours? Is it to do with their spawning times, or do they have some sort of internal clock or what?
