I was leaving. It was 9pm. At the last moment, ten feet from having the lake behind me, I decided on one more cast. I even kept this big bag on my lap. He hit the moment the lure hit the water. My pole bent and he was off for the weeds. We fought until he wore out. Once in he was too tired to even move. Put him back in. Biggest bass I ever caught. Fun

@whitebass_81 no I have no issues with weight. I am not into the biggest fish. I just fish. It was short and heavy. Wide angle lens doesn't help.

2.5 or maybe 3 but I don't want to be the weight police so tight lines

I wouldn't say this is anywhere close to doubles and it looks like a solid

@whitebass_81 bigger. This thing just started to pull my drag with ease. He weighed more than this five pound weight I keep in the car. This guy wasn't the longest ...more fish I have caught, just heavy.

@bassgetter thanks man. I wish I could have gotten a good photo holding him. Holding my wheelchair, the bass and camera made good pics difficult. He was just hanging ...more out near the drain about 30 ft out
