Spent some time out at Bell Creek this morning trying different baits. I had mild success but caught the largest fish on a Rapala suspending jerkbait. Once again I was casting towards shaded areas. This time I made my cast and gave a couple of jerks, paused, jerk jerk and on the second pause he hit. Great way to start the morning !
