One of the smaller sharks I got this week but finally had my phone out on the beach for pictures. Lots of bait balls in the surf have provided ample amounts of manhedan to kayak out for bait. Loving the va beach fishing.

sorry to get back to you so late but I would think you'd have to go very fast in the kayak for that but I'm not sure man, I've only every caught mackerel ...more once on a charter trolling at several knots

@seaturtles I see the big charter boats Infront of the house. Could I drag a spoon off the back of the yak? I've caught more sharks than I've cared to mess ...more with lol I just want food

and I caught a bunch of delicious mackerel on an offshore carter trolling with spoons. Zhou can catch mackerel off any piers with gotcha plugs but it's very ...more hit or miss

anyways since you have a kayak you can try inside rudee inlet around the bridge and near the island in lake rudee for some flounder, lots of them in there but big ...more keepers are hard to comeby...

@will_miles well I'm impressed that your finding good sized sharks around here, I keep missing good bites to line malfunctions so I might be getting close....

I got a bigger bull shark earlier this week @seaturtles and some other bigger sharks that I couldn't Id. I'm dropping the Baits out past the bar in my kayak ...more if that helps.

nice man, got one myself today and that's not very small relative to what you usually catch in the surf in va beach
