Sharks gave me a hard time today, this happened to me 5 times but still caught several good sized snappers fishing 80 FOW. I decided to use my swimbait set up and a monster fish took all 300 yards of braid so I switched to a big rod and reel spooled with 50lb mono- no more problems after that.
