Got me my first bowfin. She was big girl right at 5lbs. Was fishing a flooded pond fish moved up real shallow follow the bait. Was throwing spooks and buzzbaits all evening. Caught a lot of bass, few gar, and one bowfin. All I needed was a catfish and I would of had a freshwater slam
