Saw some carp and tried to snag one. Set the hook when I thought I had him. Turned out I snagged a gar in the tail I didn't even see him. I have t heard of many people catching them around me but we see them swimming all the time. My first gar but sadly it was foul hooked. Got him in and took a pic and released him right away beautiful fish
