SLAB crappie I caught today (that's a size 12 for reference) and that's about average for this pond! Not touch to it today just putting the fly either where I saw fish or around cover the one trick was to really wait u till you felt the pull before you set the hook. Pulled this guy off a drain pipe I always target drains when pond fishing because not only do they provide cover but they also ⬇️⬇️

King_Fisher 0They also provide moving water which pulls bait through so you can find fish near them more often than not. Air temp was 80 and sunny and water was warm and clear.
